Zulu Comedy Festival: De håndplukkede

One of Denmark's most hyped comedy duos, Martin Johannes Larsen and Rasmus Wallbridge, head up the annual charity show.

This year's Grin til Gavn (Grin for Good) is held at Aarhus Musikhus on December 27 and at Bremen Teater in Copenhagen on December 29. This year's hosts are Mikkel Klint Thorius and Jonas Mogensen! Look forward to a fantastic show with some of the country's best comedians, who are performing to benefit vulnerable children in Denmark and the rest of the world.

Five of Denmark's best comedians are going on tour together in selected cities with the stand-up concept Zulu Comedy Festival – "The Stand-up Show." The concept for the evenings is quite simple. They are five outstanding comedians who love to perform and make people laugh. The audience can look forward to a show where each of them covers all corners of the genre with sharp and, not least, humorous observations. The lineup for the Zulu Comedy Festival – "The Stand-up Show" consists of the following talented comedians: Geo, Martin Nørgaard, Jonas Mogensen, Ane Høgsberg, and Elias Ehlers. With this strong lineup, the audience can look forward to a formidable evening in the name of comedy when the five comedians take to the stage at the tour's four exclusive shows.

Between Christmas and New Year's Eve 2022, it will be 30 years since Danish comedians first took to the stage to raise money for children in vulnerable situations.

The wait has been long, but now coronavirus and lockdown can finally be replaced by laughter and enjoyable time with friends and family. A number of the country's best comedians interrupted their Easter holidays and took to the stage for a good cause in 'Grin til gavn' (Laugh for a Cause) – Save the Children's comedy show. The hosts of this comical extravaganza are Ane Høgsberg and Martin Nørgaard.

Morten Wichmann's first oneman show. The show was recorded during the Zulu Comedy Festival at Huset KBH, and it's a show that I'm actually really proud of. Here are all my best bits so far collected and wrapped in a good portion of idiotic hip-hop attitude. All performed in front of 120 enthusiastic audience members who really helped give the show the intimacy and nerve that I like about stand-up.

Mikkel Klint Thorius is ready with his third one-man show based on the trends that characterize society. Idiocy is on display and laughter is the order of the day.

My newest (and actually best) one-man show. The show is about money, women, drugs, and a whole lot more. It's a slightly more personal show than the others, but still wrapped in silliness, a touch of satire and a lot of stupid attitude. It was recorded January 2020 at the Bremen Theater in Copenhagen in front of an awesome audience. I'm pretty damn happy with the result, the mood, the expression, and the little frame story, so I hope you'll enjoy it.

The biggest up-and-coming talents on the Danish comedy scene compete to win the title of ZULU Comedian of the Year! The concept is simple: Simon Talbot, Torben Chris, Nikolaj Stokholm, and several others you know hook up with the new talents and decide what they should be funny about.

Linda P is once again ready to come on stage. This time with a show called Linda P's talk show – including talk and show. The name comes from the fact that she once again wants to entertain her audience in the style of her show "The too big Linda P show".

Look forward to a fantastic show, where this year's hosts, Carsten Bang and Jesper Juhl, together with a string of the country's comedians, will mark 25 years with a historic anniversary show on December 27 at Musikhuset Aarhus, December 29 at Royal Arena, and January 8, 2018, at The Comedy Store in London. For the fifth year in a row, the proceeds will go to Save the Children and the organization's humanitarian work for refugee children. In keeping with tradition, the popular comedy show is back, and this time it is Red Barnet that is behind it. This year's hosts are Michael Schøt and Christian Fuhlendorff.

Our mothers say it marks ‘womanhood’, advertisements say it doesn't have to hold us back and our boyfriends dare not say anything wrong. Natasha Brock, like many other women, has her period, but can't really understand the cycle. With PMS, pain, unrestrained bleeding, mood swings, prejudice and taboo, is there anything to laugh about? Laugh, cry or get angry (maybe all at once) as Natasha tries to figure out what the heck happens to the psyche when we suffer the curse of Eve. Menstruation; how long do we have to put up with it!

Look forward to Jonas Mogensen's first one-man show, where you come home to Jonas' sofa. Here, everyday life is not quite as comically undramatic as he might make it out to be. There's room for the small and big challenges of family life - and maybe even a little love.
