Yunus Emre: Aşkın Sesi

A barber working in Istanbul longs to be ‘both here and far, far away’. One day, he takes the day off and disappears abruptly without warning anyone. He then settles in a far-flung village. Some mysterious events start happening in the village as people disappear one by one.

A moviemaker hands in a script for an arty production in order to receive film funds. Due to political reasons beyond his reach, his film is not provided with a certificate of accreditation. But a true moviemaker never gives up.

Aydın is a policeman recently appointed to a new post in Istanbul. While trying to get used to life in the big city, Aydın stumbles upon Mehtap, a young woman who works at a candy shop in Beyoğlu, and he falls for her. But there is no way that Aydın can make Mehtap realize that he even exists, just as Şevket, a young man who has dropped out of law school before starting to sell toy trains on the streets to make a living, cannot make Dilek, another girl who works at the same store, realize his feelings for her. When Dilek and Aydın meet, Aydın diverts his uncontrollable feelings toward Dilek.

The film asks the question would have been triple love. Ferhat and Zeynep is a happily married couple. Karlıdağ outside of marriage appears happy couple, the first love of life remained in the years ahead will be turned upside down with the introduction of the Euphrates Nazlıgül again. In the meantime, he grows close to Gül, the daughter of the man he killed. This relationship, however, will make Ali feel some unfamiliar emotions.

The images reflected on the screen come from a camera that Namik is carrying, a camera that is forgotten. The young man running in a hospital corridor is looking for his wife Nurcan, a nurse. He finds her and takes the trigger of his gun. Then he decides on his own life and all this is recorded in the camera.

A revolutionary group of 5 is forced to leave the country after a riot. They manage to arrange a fisher boat with which they plan to flee to Bulgaria from Turkey via the Black Sea.
