The resourceful son of the house and his two schoolmates devise a cunning plan to stop the assassination plans. A missile system called Cobra plays an important role in the drama.

Den store barnedåpen (English: The great christening) is a 1931 Norwegian comedy film directed by Tancred Ibsen, starring Einar Sissener, Aase Bye and Agnete Schibsted-Hansson. It was the first feature-length Norwegian sound film. The lacklustre Harald (Sissener) is taken in by Alvilde (Bye), and charged with looking after her bastard child. It soon dawns on both of them that Harald has more potential than previously assumed.

In a small mine town north of the circle, Torsten lives, working with his sister Eva and comrade Lars, who is engaged to Eva. Märta hears of an old gold treasure that will be hidden somewhere in the mountains, trying to seduce both of them and seek both friends to find out the treasure. Neither Lars nor Torsten knows the plans or swarms of others, but Eva notices how Märta attracts Lars away from her.

Øjvind, a smallholder's boy, is a close friend with Marit, a farmer's girl, throughout their entire childhood. As an adolescent he one day recognizes that she has become a maiden, and that he has fallen in love with her. When he sees Marit dancing with Jon Halten, a farmer's son, he gets sad, and notices that when you start loving someone, you are not cheerful any more. He senses the social distance between himself and Marit, and tries to compensate this by becoming the best pupil in the village. Øjvind wants to study at an agricultural college, and the old schoolmaster helps him to arrange this. When he some years later returns to the village as an agronomist, he and Marit resume their romance. Because of their different social status Marit's grandfather, Ola Nordistua, tries to stop the liaison. With new agricultural methods Øjvind helps his father to get better harvests. At the same time the old Ola Nordistua sees his farm going downhill as no one really cares for it.

Karl Kraft uncovers a major weapon smuggling scheme going on in Oslo. Along the way he meets the waitress Lilly, who is involved in the affair.

A story of Lap herders who rescue a baby from a herd of wolves and name her Laila (played by Aino Taube as an adult). The pictorial beauty of the country is complimented by action shots of wolves and reindeer.

A reindeer company is being robbed for reindeer. The police hasn't got a clue, and a new investigator is sent. The thieves want to get rid of him, but things don't go as planned.

The stuttering Theobald stumbles upon some ballet girls who are in town with a touring theater company and falls in love with Lill. This leads to an interest in becoming an actor, and a theater manager sees him as an unintentional comic relief on stage.

Helga Breder is a young, spoiled girl. To her beloved Jörgen she says that she, as a modern young woman, is multi-talented and can do whatever she likes. Jörgen bets that she can't work as a house-maid but, if she manages it, he will buy her a diamond ring. Helga becomes a house-maid at Vinger Mansion and falls in love with an inventor, Bertil Frigård, who lives there.

A combination of comedy and romance revolving around the many part-time jobs held by a girl before she acquires a full-time job as a wife.

The Sjölund family on Lillholmen in the archipelago of Stockholm is quite religious and is considered suitable for dealing with odd specimens of wild youth placed there by one of Stockholm's youth associations for young girls.
