The Doors: Break on Thru - A Celebration of Ray Manzarek

The story of the famous and influential 1960s rock band and its lead singer and composer, Jim Morrison.

Using footage shot between their formation in 1965 and Morrison's death in 1971, it follows the band from the corridors of UCLA's film school, where Manzarek and Morrison met, to the stages of sold-out arenas.

After surviving a devastating plane crash that nearly took his life, legendary and electrifying drummer Travis Barker embarks on a raw and redemptive journey in this intimate portrait of the man behind the tattoos who transformed pain into power.
