The Ding family has been in the business of catching criminals for generations, and their descendants are honored as "Flying Eagles". A mysterious person hires Ding Lan to investigate the whereabouts of the remnants of the "Baiyue Sect" at a high price. While investigating, Lan falls into his mother's scheme and is arranged to marry wealthy young lady Ni Tian'er. Set in 1930s Guangdong, when the gambling industry was in full bloom.
