The Legend of the Condor Heroes is a Hong Kong television series adapted from Louis Cha's novel of the same title. It was first broadcast on TVB Jade in Hong Kong in 1983. The 59 episodes long series is divided into three parts. This 1983 version is considered by many to be a classic television adaptation of the novel and features the breakthrough role of Barbara Yung, who played Huang Rong.

Reincarnated is a 60 episode 1979 wuxia television series and was produced and aired by Rediffusion Television in Hong Kong and also a series of books, TV and films written by Wong Ying who co-wrote some of Gu Long stories, such as the Six Spine-Chilling Stories Series and other people.

During the later years of the Kangxi Emperor's rule, his many sons were vying for the throne. The fourth prince, aided by Lusi, Nian Gengyao, and Han Chong, while the fourteenth prince had the support of martial arts master Zeng Jing. The competition between the two became intense. Lusi developed a romantic relationship with the fourth prince while Zeng Jing also had feelings for her, making their situation more complicated. Later, the fourth prince killed Kangxi and altered the imperial edict, successfully usurping the throne and naming himself Emperor Yongzheng. From then on, Yongzheng ruthlessly eliminated dissidents and even betrayed those who helped him, causing Lusi to regret her involvement. Ultimately, the fourteenth prince plotted to assassinate Yongzheng with the help of Zeng Jing and Lusi, igniting a fierce battle.

Gao Tianyuan and his wife Zhuo Feng'er live in seclusion in the Tian Shan mountains due to his father's dismissal from officialdom. They go down the mountain to reunite with his father but he is suddenly killed, and Feng'er defects to Tianzheng Sect's leader, Ren Wo weihuai. Devastated, Tianyuan starts a new life under a false identity until he meets Sikong Aoshi and becomes involved in the martial world again. He decides to seek revenge for his father's death and becomes an official, but his impatience leads to a dangerous mistake. Later, he discovers that the real culprit wants to rebel and dominate the martial world, and he teams up with Aoshi to eliminate the threat.

The drama follows the Long Wind Escort Agency as they are led by young master Guo Xu to thwart the conspiracy plots. Along the way, the romantic and chivalrous Guo Xu encounters various people during their escort missions.

Zhuge Liang, a talented scholar, lived through this turbulent period, but did not prioritize fame and wealth. He was asked to help rescue a monastery from disaster and discovered that there were people within the monastery who were collaborating with the Yellow Turban rebels to kidnap young boys and girls. While assisting a kidnapped girl in finding her family, Zhuge Liang met Xiao Qiao from the Eastern Wu empire, and they fell in love despite her earlier engagement to Zhou Yu. Their love was complicated by these circumstances. Meanwhile, Liu Qi, Zhuge Liang's friend, was determined to contact other like-minded figures to rebel against Cao Cao and to kill him. Upon learning of a secret decree from the Emperor, Liu Qi and Zhuge Liang joined forces to plan their next move.

"City Japes July 1987" is a classic sitcom set in a building in the Garden City. The story revolves around three families - the Xus, the Leungs, and the Sus - who live in the same building and interact with each other. Despite occasional conflicts, the families are close-knit and share heartwarming moments. Tragedy, romance, conflicts, and intrigues were featured. The series was immediately followed by a sequels titled "New Police Cadet '85" and "New Police Cadet '88". Both sequels stars Tony Leung.

The series revolves around a group of lawyers and legal personnel with stories interwoven between their personal lives and the court cases in which they’re engaged. This drama is Bobby Au Yeung's TV debut.

Justice Bao is a 236-episode television series from Taiwan, first airing on Chinese Television System from February 1993 to January 1994. The show stars Jin Chao-chun as the Chinese official Bao Zheng in the Song Dynasty. It was hugely popular in Greater China as well as many other countries in the Far East. The series was originally scheduled for just 15 episodes. However, the show garnered high ratings when the initial episodes aired. Due to its popularity, CTS expanded the show to 236 episodes. The TVB and ATV Home networks in Hong Kong both bought the series in an attempt to gain viewers. Competition between the two networks during the showing of the series was so severe that identical episodes were shown on both channels on the same night. It was also one of the first dramas that used NICAM technology.
