PFL Tampa: Cyborg vs. Vieira was a mixed martial arts event produced by the Professional Fighters League that took place on August 22, 2026, at the Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, Florida, United States. A PFL Women's Featherweight Championship bout between current champion Cris Cyborg (who is also a former Strikeforce, Invicta FC, UFC and Bellator Women's Featherweight World Champion) and Ketlen Vieira headlined the event. This was Cyborg's retirement fight after she began her MMA career in 2005.

PFL Super Fights: Battle of the Giants was a mixed martial arts event produced by the Professional Fighters League that took place on October 19, 2024, at The Mayadeen in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. A heavyweight superfight title bout between former UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou and 2023 PFL heavyweight winner Renan Ferreira headlined the event.

Christine Stanley was scheduled to face Emily Corso but Corso withdrew due to injury on January 30 and was replaced by Rachael Cummins. Two days before the event, Cummins withdrew due to suffering an injury in training and was replaced at the last minute by Laura Salazar. DeAnna Bennett was scheduled to face Lynn Alvarez but Alvarez withdrew due to injury on February 11 and was replaced by Norma Rueda Center. Irene Aldana was to face Melanie LaCroix but Melanie withdrew due to injury as well and was replaced by Colleen Schneider.

DREAM.10 took place on July 20, 2009, at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan, promoted by Fighting and Entertainment Group’s DREAM. Key bouts include Paulo Filho vs. Melvin Manhoef in a middleweight clash, Jesse Taylor vs. Dong Sik Yoon, and a lightweight superfight between Katsunori Kikuno and Andre Amado. In 1983 the upstart United States Football League (USFL) had the audacity to challenge the almighty NFL. The new league did the unthinkable by playing in the spring and plucked three straight Heisman Trophy winners away from the NFL. The 12-team USFL played before crowds that averaged 25,000, and started off with respectable TV ratings. But with success came expansion and new owners, including a certain high profile and impatient real estate baron whose vision was at odds with the league’s founders. Soon, the USFL was reduced to waging a desperate anti-trust lawsuit against the NFL, which yielded an ironic verdict that effectively forced the league out of business. Now, almost a quarter of a century later, Academy Award-nominated and Peabody Award-winning director Mike Tollin, himself once a chronicler of the league, will showcase the remarkable influence of those three years on football history and attempt to answer the question, “Who Killed the USFL?”

Invicta FC 15: Cyborg vs. Ibragimova was a mixed martial arts event that was headlined by an Invicta FC Featherweight Championship bout with champion Cristiane "Cyborg" Justino defending against Russian newcomer Daria Ibragimova. The event was originally scheduled to feature Cyborg dropping down in weight but it was later decided that she would remain at 145 and defend her championship.

EliteXC: Unfinished Business was a mixed martial arts event held by EliteXC on July 26, 2008 in Stockton, CA at Stockton Arena. The main event featured a rematch between Middleweight Champion Robbie Lawler and Scott Smith. This event was the second EliteXC event to air on CBS.

EliteXC: Return of The King was a mixed martial arts event promoted by EliteXC that took place on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at the Neal S. Blaisdell Arena in Oahu, Hawaii. The main card aired live on Showtime. The Welterweight title bout of Jake Shields vs. Drew Fickett was removed from the original card when Fickett sustained an injury. The event drew an estimated 350,000 viewers on Showtime. Nick Diaz showed up for his 160 pound lightweight fight at 169 pounds which lead to it becoming a catchweight bout.

Invicta FC 1: Coenen vs. Ruyssen was the inaugural event of the promotion held on April 28, 2012 at the Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas, United States. It was headlined by former Strikeforce women's bantamweight champion Marloes Coenen and French fighter Romy Ruyssen, who had lost to Coenen by 2nd round submission in her second professional fight in 2008. The event also marked the MMA debut of 2008 Summer Olympics women's freestyle wrestling medalist Randi Miller. The event was not televised, but was available as a free video stream at the Invicta Fighting Championships webpage. Fighters Sofia Bagherdai, Randi Miller, Ashleigh Curry, and Romy Ruyssen missed weight for their bouts. Bagherdai and Curry forfeited 10% of their purse to their opponent, while Miller and Ruyssen foreited 25% of their purse to their opponent.

Bellator 174: Coenen vs. Budd was held on March 3, 2017 at the WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma. The event aired live in prime time on Spike TV. The main event featured Marloes Coenen versus Julia Budd for the inaugural Bellator women's featherweight title.[6] This was the first time a woman's bout has headlined a Bellator card. Kendall Grove was originally scheduled to face Chris Honeycutt at this event. However, Honeycutt was removed from the bout on February 28 and replaced by three-time UFC veteran and Bellator newcomer Mike Rhodes. Rhodes then failed to make weight and the fight was cancelled. Joe Taimanglo was scheduled to face Steve Garcia on this card. However, the fight was removed from the card after Taimanglo missed weight.

Strikeforce / M-1 Global: Fedor vs. Henderson was a mixed martial arts event held by Strikeforce. The event took place on July 30, 2011 at Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. The main card was headlined by a heavyweight superfight between former Pride Heavyweight Champion Fedor Emelianenko and former Pride Welterweight Champion, Pride Middleweight Champion and current Strikeforce Light Heavyweight champ Dan Henderson.It was co-headlined by a women's bantamweight title fight between champion Marloes Coenen and challenger Miesha Tate.

Invicta FC 6: Coenen vs. Cyborg was a mixed martial arts event held on 13th July 2013. The event will be headlined by Marloes Coenen vs Cristiane Santos to crown the first Invicta FC Featherweight Champion. It has been stated that the winner between Leslie Smith and Jennifer Maia will get a title shot against Flyweight Champion Barb Honchak
