Recorded live at Koseinenken Hall on July 31st, 1981, this performance captures the band in full flight while on tour promoting their Escape album. Prolific jazz guitarist Metheny and his group launch a tight, intense, uplifting and musically complex assortment of sounds in this fine concert performance. The band features Metheny, Lyle Mays, Steve Rodby, Richard Bona, Cuong Vu, Antonio Sanchez. One of the most acclaimed jazz guitarists of his generation, Pat Metheny is captured here live in concert. Always pushing himself to the very boundaries of musical invention, Metheny and his band pull together a taut, intense set of songs that are both complex and highly enjoyable. Recorded and filmed on Journey's "Escape" tour in November of 1981 at the Houston Summit in Houston, Texas, "Live In Houston 1981" captures the band at the height of their commercial success. The concert was first filmed and recorded as a concert for the then-fledgling MTV network Hits such as "Lights", "Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin'", "Wheel in the Sky", and "Any Way You Want It" are in evidence plus tracks from the band's then-current album "Escape" like its title cut, "Open Arms", "Who's Cryin' Now" and "Don't Stop Believin'" .

Mike Stern is certainly one of the best electric guitarists of his generation. This has never been more obvious than in the extraordinary concert the 4 time Grammy nominee gave in the springtime of 2008 to a mesmerized New Morning audience. At the peak of his inspiration, improvising past all musical genres, Mike - superbly backed this time by brilliant drummer Dave Weckl, soulful tenor saxophonist Bob Franceschini and incredible bassist Tom Kennedy - takes his fans along into a journey of pure musical delight. Not a surprise that Mike concluded the evening by confiding, ""I don't want to stop! They'll probably have to wheel me off the stage"".

Recorded at Auditório Ibirapuera in Sao Paulo , on 24 and 25 June 2006 , the album features the biggest hits singer-songwriter Lenine's career such as "Paciência" (Patience), "Jack Soul Brasileiro" (Since I am Brazilian), "Na Pressão" (On The Pressure), "A Rede" (The Net), "Hoje Eu Quero Sair Só" (I Want Go Out Alone, Today) and "A Medida da Paixão" (The Measure of Passion), plus new songs like "Tudo Por Acaso" (All By Chance). The album features special participations from musicians such as the Chilean Victor Astorga (the first English horn soloist with the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra), Cameroonian bassist and singer Richard Bona, Mexican singer Julieta Venegas, harpist Cristina Braga, the rapper Gog, and drummer Iggor Cavalera (ex-member of Sepultura). The DVD includes bonus material, plus making-of scenes, reviews, testimonials about the project, the guests and also footage of the 2006 World Cup, since the performance was recorded concurrently with it.

Richard Bona was born in Cameroon. He was 10 years old when he built his first bass guitar out of a cardboard box and bicycle brake cables. Now based in New York, this collaborator of Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, and Sting has won over audiences with his Afro-influenced music and his multilingual vocals. The Frankfurt Radio Big Band is conducted by Michael Philip Mossman.

Journey "Frontiers & Beyond" is a fact-based doccumentary covering the rock groups "Frontiers" tour across the USA.

The Escape Tour was a concert tour by the American rock band Journey. It was one of Journey's most successful concert tours, in support of their first number one album, Escape. The tour included six consecutive sold out dates at the Pine Knob Theatre in Detroit, and four straight sold out shows at the Los Angeles Forum, and Chicago's Rosemont Horizon. Journey also made an appearance on July 2, 1982 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California with Blue Öyster Cult, Triumph and Aldo Nova. The eight and a half month tour took Journey through Japan and North America. Point Blank, Billy Squier, Greg Kihn Band and Loverboy were the opening acts during the tour.

In February 2017, Journey went to Japan for a special show at Tokyo’s Budokan that featured a complete performance of 1981’s Escape and 1983’s Frontiers at the request of legendary Japanese concert promoter Mr. Udo in honor of his 50th anniversary in the business. “There’s a few songs I don’t even recall playing, like [the Frontiers track] ‘Troubled Child,” Journey guitarist Neal Schon told Rolling Stone at the time. “Digging back into that stuff has been a lot of fun.”
