Syria, 2015. Russian girl Alina lives in Damascus and, together with her husband, Syrian Kamil, is raising a son, Rustum, and a daughter, Tanya. The echo of the war has reached the capital - terrorist attacks are constantly taking place in Damascus, people are being kidnapped for ransom. One day, Kamil and Rustum disappear without a trace. While searching for them, Alina turns to Russian reporter Evgeniy for help. In order to save her husband and son from a deadly trap, Alina will have to go to a Syrian militant camp.

He came to steal thousands of Russian soldiers into the Horde, but he is ready to be content with only a part if Grand Duke Yaroslav returns the princess Ustinia, the wife of his brother Boris. Yaroslav is not ready to violate the laws of Faith and Honor, but Boris himself is taking this step, hoping that this sacrifice will ensure him a princely throne. Ustinya with a caravan goes to a foreign land. Mengu leaves Yaroslav a "gift" from the Great Khan - young Nargiz, who awakens the prince to life and puts him before a fateful choice. The characters have fictitious names, but they can easily be guessed by real people whom everyone knows perfectly well: Robert Rozhdestvensky, Yevgeny Yevtushenko, Andrei Voznesensky, Bulat Okudzhava, Bella Akhmadulina, Vladimir Vysotsky, Ernst Neizvestny, Vasily Aksenov himself and others.

After the unsuccessful attempt on the life of Baron Wrangel and the death of an intelligence agent, a new cunning plan is being developed to implement the "Crimean Mission". The best agent, Elena Golubovskaya, is appointed to this case. In Crimea, Golubovskaya appears already as El Ferrari - a gifted Italian poet. Her task is to eliminate Wrangel in order to demoralize the white movement, as well as control the operation to steal gold. Her plans are thwarted by Maximilian Ermler, a local newspaper journalist who turns out to be a British intelligence agent.

Young director Yegor Myachin wants to adаpt this screenplay. Khrustalyov arranges him as a trainee to the venerable director Krivitsky for a comedy. In the same film act Khrustalev's ex-wife Inga and his young sweetheart Maryana, with whom Yegor Myachin is also in love.
