The Dealers tells the story of Rami and Avishay, 27 years old friends that share an apartment in a small Jerusalem neighborhood. They spend their days smoking and playing in a soccer team with other losers, which its coach Zvika is determined to take the "Jerusalem neighborhood cup" with. In need for money they get entangled in a drug deal with Sagi, a local gangster, which forces them to learn the hard way about taking responsibility, loyalty, and friendship. The movie is a humorous view of the colorful, multi culture, unique and somehow funny Israeli society.

One of the guests is Joy, a Philippine chore woman attending the event with her employer, and who doesn't speak any Hebrew (she communicates mainly in English), and who is guilt-ridden after having left her young son behind in the Philippines.

A family man becomes obsessed with looking at his own life out of context.

Within the disciplined and rigid world of the military, it is easy to forget the little man.  While preparing his troops for a military funeral, a seasoned military finds himself reflecting on his own life and behavior. As he instructs his cadets to conduct themselves with honor, he himself is challenged by the lack of respect he hopes for.

In 2008 the city of Tel-Aviv sent four refrigerated trucks to Mount Hermon, to bring back with them 60 cubic meters of snow. Early in the morning, the trucks returned to Rabin Square and prepared a white, frosty surprise for the residents. In front of the square, now covered with snow, lives the Dahan family, which is facing eviction on that very same day. The film follows the four truck drivers making their journey from the north, and Hanna, the mother of the family, as she sees her life melting down before her.

A chance encounter with an elderly man unlocks troubled memories, and a brief affair with a much younger man, send him spiraling through generational rifts, and force him to confront his internalized homophobia and emotional wounds of his past.

Somewhat autobiographical, the film opens right after the 6 day war, when Israelis euphoric with victory and the kids dress up as the captured Western Wall in Jerusalem. Now it is 1972. The film centers on a young boy, who is failing in school, and grounded from going on Passover trips with his classmates. Instead he must visit private academies (including military school) with his parents, who want him to do better in school. Foreshadowing to the coming war in 1973 and the defeat of euphoria.

Tamar is an amazingly talented but very quiet and insecure girl, who leaves behind her home and all she knows, changing herself unrecognizably -from her looks to her attitude- to brace herself for a dangerous mission to help a loved-one. Asaf, a clumsy, naive, and very shy boy working a boring summer job at City Hall, is given quite a mission himself : to take an uncontrollable stray dog from the pound, put it on a leash, and let it lead him back to its owners to be fined. The more stories Asaf hears about this extraordinary girl, the more he falls for her, and as he and Dinkah continue their journey Asaf becomes aware that Tamar is in grave danger.

After Daniel travelled for a long period in Europe, he is coming back to his childhood home, in a small village in Israel. He wants to find Lilah, the woman of his life. Lilah, a former ballet teacher, has been paralyzed on her bed for three years. Daniel is going to commit something unbelievable out of love. The film deals with the conflict between religious tradition and the freedom to choose your fate.

“The Vanished” was a full-length feature film produced nearly twenty years ago by the IDF Spokesperson’s Film Unit. It was an exceptionally ambitious and elaborate production, with an estimated budget of around one million dollars. The IDF invested generous resources—hundreds of extras, tanks, helicopters, and more were made available—and some of Israel’s top film professionals joined (or were enlisted) to take part in its creation. Nevertheless, at the very last moment, the IDF decided to shelve the film. “The Vanished” was never publicly screened, and to this day, the reason for its suppression remains unclear.
