Santa Monica in 1933. Freddie Clark looks around the streets of his hometown after being away for several years. Having been hit by the Great Depression, Santa Monica has lost its buzz as a resort town. He walks along the city streets together with his friend Steve Donovan on his way to visit the home of a client who has hired him as a bodyguard. The client is Doyle Lauren, a researcher and creator of a number of inventions. Doyle is on the verge of completing a revolutionary invention, the likes of which the world has never seen. He wants his only daughter, Kathy, protected right up until the time his research is safely completed.

The Love of the Last Tycoon is inspired by the life of film producer Irving Thalberg, on whom protagonist Monroe Stahr is based. The story follows Stahr's rise to power in Hollywood, and his conflicts with rival Pat Brady, a character based on studio head Louis B. Mayer.

Our story is set in the third century BC in what is now known as Qin Dynasty China. The death of Shin huangti, the first leader strong enough to unite the warring states, has led to uprisings against the Qin hegemony in each territory. Out of all this chaos, Kou U, a general from the Chu State, emerges as a supreme warrior. Together with his uncle, Kou U has seized control of Kaikei. From his newly-acquired stronghold he begins to raise an army.

Kanade Suzaku, a student at Royal Phoenix High School, is the heir to the Suzaku Group, a corporation estimated at a worth of several trillion yen. Kanade’s late mother raised him to be intellectual and have an aristocratic nature, the perfect “prince.” Among his peers Kanade is known as the “Celebrity Prince,” adored by members of his entourage Seiichiro Kuon and Gen Kaburagi and many other students. One day, Kanade sets out to check on Kanon Naruse at the request of his father, Toshiya Suzaku, who lives in New York. Kanon is the daughter of Toshiya’s first love, left behind after the death of her mother. She has been saddled with the debts of her own father, working at part-time jobs to make a living. Kanade goes looking for her at St. Brilliant High School, where Kanon is a student. He sees in her the spirit of his own mother, the embodiment of a princess for a prince to love.

Since childhood, he has harbored feelings of love for Fujitsubo-no-Nyogo, the Empress of Kiritsubotei. -- Melodia -- This performance comprises a number of musical pieces played to passionate as well as beautiful melodies and rhythms that generate excitement. The Wind Over Yamatai-koku: Ancient Japan was full of small territories, so new wars kept starting without any respite. Among those territories, Yamatai-koku was a fertile area which believed in the importance of union, but as its influence began to spread the rival Kuna-koku begins to desire its rich resources, and attacks Yamatai-koku continuously.
