In October 2014, Steve Wakeford, a sports broadcast editor, fell 70 metres whilst climbing a mountain known as Les Petites Jorasses in the French Alps. It was a fall that required him to be airlifted out of the mountains suffering from a number of serious injuries and resulted in him being temporarily left in a wheelchair - he is lucky to be alive. At the start of a long journey of rehabilitation, he began to ask himself some serious questions - 'Regardless of injury or trauma, why are we drawn to the mountains in the first place? Is risk an essential part of what we do? Perhaps most importantly, why is it that I am planning to climb the same route from which I fell?'

Disciples of Gill is a documentary by Pat Ament dedicated to bouldering and the legacy of John Gill, a major figure in climbing. The film revisits the rise of bouldering in the 1960s and 70s, as well as its influence on modern climbing. It follows the stories of climbers inspired by John Gill and shows how his ideas, technique, and approach shaped an entire generation. It blends interviews and archival footage to trace the evolution of this practice in Pueblo, Flagstaff Mountain, and more broadly within climbing culture.

The silent climber is a documentary about bouldering that takes place in Pueblo. It was directed by Pat Ament in 1976. It features John Gill and Jim Holloway.

Paul Robinson returns to Cape Town, South Africa to show his friends Carlo Traversi and Ashima Shiraishi the boulders he discovered on previous trips. Carlo repeats some of Paul's hardest lines from the last season and Ashima sets new standards for women's bouldering world wide. The crew also discovers and explores the vast, untapped potential for bouldering on the Cape of South Africa with numerous first ascents of all difficulties.
