Marla and Simone are madly in love and have a very passionate relationship. They are also struggling to get by and are unable to pay the rent. In desperation they decide to make porn videos. Sex cowboys is a travel inside our generation, the lost generation, destined to live without a permanent employment, a fixed home and a defined lifestyle. The characters of this travel are nomadic, precarious e immature in the comedy of their life: to Simone's anger and to Marla's magic need, alternates passion and sex. The generational crisis is inside us, and we have to find a way to survive and make the present our dream, since in our future we won't have space.

The film is the result of a planned trilogy about the kidnapping and murder of Aldo Moro by the Red Brigades first announced by director Grimaldi in 2003: shot in the UK on a low budget, the project was never completed because of lack of funding and other issues, and the existing footage from the first two planned installments was condensed into a single movie and released on DVD in 2009.

Claudio is the legendary captain of Carrarese Calcio, a leading force, both in football and family life. Everything seems to be going great: the team reaches promotion to Serie B ( higher league) and, together with his wife, he finally opens the restaurant he has always wanted to, in order to stabilise the family's economic future. The long-awaited Serie B, however, turns out to be a doom: Claudio's contract is not renewed due to his age. It will be the beginning of the decline, as an athlete and as a man. Claudio will be dragged into a vortex of events that will undermine his certainties and his own moral rigor.

Four tales unfold in the Eternal City: While vacationing in Rome, architect John encounters a young man whose romantic woes remind him of a painful incident from his own youth; retired opera director Jerry discovers a mortician with an amazing voice, and he seizes the opportunity to rejuvenate his own flagging career; a young couple have separate romantic interludes; a spotlight shines on an ordinary man.

Alessandro lives a mundane life, working in an office and expecting a child with his wife Giulia. One day, his routine is disrupted by an ant invasion in his house. Unable to get rid of them, the ants follow him everywhere, and their numbers keep increasing. Alessandro is determined to discover their origin and eradicate them.

An unconventional day in Nicola’s life, which begins at the eye doctor’s and takes him around the city, his eye bandaged like a pirate’s. At home, the bakery or in his analyst’s office, the various stops on his wanderings are part of a much more complex journey however, a tightly-woven fabric in which there is the slightest of snags; a snag which stretches and unravels to finally take on a new shape. It is that awareness of being homosexual, and yet never having accepted it.

Micky Laus is an important and dishonest entrepreneur in the watermelon business. He also owns a commercial TV station, Melonen TV, and a soccer team, AC Topolonia. He also leads the political party he founded, Forza Topolonia. Laus is kidnapped by a terrorist organization and taken to a popular prison where he will have to wait for the verdict on his fate, which will come from the people of the web.
