After his wife's death, Fernando becomes a quiet and introspective man who raises his son, Daniel by himself. The problem is that children and adults have forgotten the story of the Little Ugly Princess, which is as wonderful as other major fables for children. Cinderella brings together other fairy tale characters to meet the writer who keeps, lost in a small notebook, the Little Ugly Princess story.

Rio de Janeiro is a city that attracts people from all over the world. Francisco is a native of Rio who does his best to explain the customs and lifestyle of the Carioca population to foreigners who feel lost in the big city.
