My Wife's Ghost

It’s 1974 and Sam Bicke has lost everything. His wife leaves him with his three kids, his boss fires him, his brother turns away from him, and the bank won’t give him any money to start anew. He tries to find someone to blame for his misfortunes and comes up with the President of the United States who he plans to murder.

The film revolves around Saeed AL-Masri (Adel Imam), one of the pilots of the October War who lost his eye-sight after his plane crashed during the war. Saeed AL-Masri is forced to live in a home for disabled people that is managed by a very bureaucratic managers which they turn it into a prison.

In a high school plagued by five unruly students who have failed to graduate for over a decade, the principal hires a new teacher in a last-ditch effort to restore order. Effat, the newly appointed instructor, takes on the challenge with hopes of reforming the troublemakers into model students.

Set in 1987 against the backdrop of a hunger strike by the Egyptian film industry, Chahine himself steps in to play Yehia, the famed Egyptian director whose life is chronicled in "Alexandria, Why?" and "An Egyptian Story". Obsessed with Amr, the handsome actor he discovered and cast as his alter-ego in parts one and two of The Alexandria Trilogy, Yehia pressures Amr to star in various film projects that change even as Yehia's perception of the young actor begins to change. He first casts Amr as Hamlet, which the actor deems too demanding for his talents, then as the lead in a musical biopic of demigod Alexander the Great, who founded the city of Alexandria in 332 B.C.

Shousha El-Sakka, fears death because it took his wife. He meets with Shehata, and later knows that he is an undertaker assistant and he becomes pessimistic of him ,but when Shehata dies, Shousha is saddened by his passing.

The story revolves around the conflict between the Al-Fayoumi and Al-Mursi families, after the murder of one of Al-Mursi's sons by one of Adham Al-Fayoumi's sons. Adham succeeds in escaping punishment for his son by forging the testimony of one witness and killing two others, while Amina, the lawyer and daughter of Adham Al-Fayoumi, objects to her father's devious approach aimed at distancing his son from responsibility for his crime. The Al-Mursi family takes revenge on Al-Fayoumi by targeting and killing Al-Fayoumi's son and kidnapping Amina's children.

Mahmoud lives in Upper Egypt, and he's pursued for a crime he didn't commit. He flees to Alexandria with his only son, Ahmed, and works as a porter at Haji Saleh. Mahmoud emigrates to America, and leaves his son with Haji Saleh, who gives all his wealth to Ahmed.

Aziz goes to visit his friend Sherif while the latter's girlfriend, Salwa is in the house. As the two friends get drunk, Sherif passes out, only to wake up to the cops who arrest him for killing Salwa.

Amal lives in Paris and works as a spy for Israel. She repents and decides to repent. She uses the Egyptian ambassador to make an appointment with the Egyptian intelligence chief, whom she confesses. She agrees to be a double agent after she passes a polygraph. She is asked to travel to Tel Aviv to film a dangerous tape of Israeli weapons and strategic plans in case of war with Egypt from the Defense Ministry building. Amal's mission succeeds in smuggling the film. But Israeli intelligence discovers its deception. He received a kind of brutal torment, which Egyptian intelligence agents could smuggle from the hospital to Egypt.
