Abunai Deka, often shortened to AbuDeka, is Japanese television drama aired by Nippon Television between 1986 and 1987. Starring Hiroshi Tachi and Kyohei Shibata, the series became very popular and spawned films, spin-offs series, and books. The series follows a pair of detectives, Takayama and Oshita, from the Naka-ku branch of the Kanagawa Prefectural Police.

Seito Shokun! is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Yoko Shoji. It is serialized in Kodansha's Shōjo Friend from 1977 to 1984. The individual chapters were published into 24 tankōbon by Kodansha between February 1978 and June 1985. Seito Shokun! received the won the second Kodansha Manga Award in 1978 for the shōjo category. Kodansha made a one-shot spin-off of the series in September, 1983 and re-released the manga into 12 kanzenban volumes between December 12, 1995 and March 12, 1996. The sequel to the manga, Seito Shokun! Kyoshi-hen had its first tankōbon published on April 13, 2004. The manga was adapted into an original video animation by Ashi Productions. Directed by Mitsuo Kusakabe, it was broadcast on Fuji TV on February 23, 1986. The manga was adapted into a Japanese television drama of the same name. Directed by Karaki Marehiro and Tamura Naoki, the drama's 10 episodes was broadcast on TV Asahi between April 20, 2007 and June 22, 2007.

After a car accident kills both her parents, the 16-year-old Ayumi (Fukada) and her brother are adopted by their aunt and uncle respectively. SMAP×SMAP was an ongoing weekly Japanese variety show on Kansai TV and Fuji TV starring the members of SMAP. The show began on April 15, 1996 and it aired from 22:00 to 22:54 every Monday. The show's usual ratings were higher than 20%, which is considered high since most variety shows range from 10-20%. Each episode begins a variety of skits, comedic performances, and/or games.  These are followed by Bistro SMAP, in which the SMAP members compete against each other to impress celebrity judges with their gourmet cooking.  Last is a musical performance by SMAP which may include celebrity guests, as well.

Hello! Morning (ハロー！モーニング) is a weekly television show starring the lead Hello! Project group Morning Musume (although originally, all Hello! Project members were featured). It has aired 11:30 to 12:30 Sundays on TV Tokyo. It has been on the air from April 2000 until April 2007. The name of the show is often abbreviated as ハロモニ (Haromoni). The last episode of Hello! Morning was aired April 1st, 2007 after 354 episodes. The show was replaced with a new show called Haromoni@, which is somewhat shorter and has a different concept.

Utaban was a long-running Japanese music variety show, broadcast weekly from October 15, 1996 until March 23, 2010 on TBS. The name of the show is an abbreviation of "uta bangumi", meaning "music program". A special version of the show, running for two hours, was occasionally aired under the name Tokuban, an abbreviation of "tokubetsu bangumi", meaning "special program". The show's theme song, played during the opening sequence and closing credits, was "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'" by Nancy Sinatra.

Yumi, a writer of a science magazine, witnesses a mysterious death of a high school girl who received a "one missed call" from her own cell phone, two weeks in the future. The disturbing message on the cell phone turns out to be the screams of the victim.

She loves animals more than humans. Keiko develops inferences from clues from animals left behind at crime scenes. Tomozo and Keiko work together to solve cases.

TV Champion is a Japanese television variety show produced by TV Tokyo. The show challenges competitors with various talents in an array of tasks in order to crown one "King" of their ability. Episodes have focused on talents like Origami, Lego, and cooking fake food. TV Champion premiered on 16 April 1992 as a 1 hour show, but was extended to a 90 minute format in 1993. And change format to TV Champion 2 in 2006 by running 1 hour.

Hello Pro Hour (ハロプロアワー) was an online-only Hello! Project show. The show featured Hello! Project members with an interview and a song performance. The shows first broadcast was on March 3, 2006 and the show ended on November 24, 2006 after about 8 months.
