Rage Against The Machine performed their last shows on September 12th and 13th 2000 prior to their original break-up. Having paved the way for many alternative bands in the 90s, and proving once and for all that rock and politics do mix, the band decided to quit while they were ahead. Fortunately a camera crew were on hand to capture the action from their emotional farewell shows, providing an intense document of the final hours of the band. All the groups hits are present, including 'Bombtrack', 'Bulls on Parade', 'Killing In The Name', and many more.

Outside Mexico City's Sports Pavilion, hundreds of young Rage fans rattle metal fences and throw rocks at the increasingly nervous police. Inside, a seething crowd of 5,000 lucky ticket holders cram into the cavernous pavilion chanting anti-government slogans and poking their middle fingers into the thick, sweaty air while waiting for Rage Against The Machine to storm the stage.

This film follows the exploits of a middle aged man as he wanders through Argentina. He is periodically joined by other strange wanderers such as Nadia, the gun slinging psychic, Lem, a strange travelling millionaire, Barante, the hobo, and Coluccini, a bankrupt circus owner who involves "the engineer" in a rigged card game..

The story takes place in a parallel world during a tour of the musician Daniel Melingo in Europe. What looks like real not always is. With elements of surrealism, the 1930s and the 21st century, the plot accompanies him always focused on the intermediate times, when he downs the stage, away from the show.
