I Wish I Were a Shark

A young and successful copywriter Alan Despot, after trying in vain to renew a broken relationship with his girlfriend, goes to the island of Vis and finds himself torn between his eccentric father, another ex-girlfriend and her fiancé. New situations and circumstances help Alan to view his own life from a new perspective.

Don Fabijan is a young priest who comes to serve on an unnamed small island in the Adriatic. In order to help increase birth rate on the island, he decides to pierce condoms before they are sold. He therefore teams up with the newsagent Petar and the pharmacist Marin. After they abolish all forms of birth control on the entire island, the consequences become more and more complicated.

Story about a forty-something Sarajevo taxi driver named Fudo (Saša Petrović) who decides to take control of his own destiny. Fudo doesn't earn much, so he supplements his income by offering tips to the local criminal syndicate and turning a blind eye to their nefarious dealings. One day, after offering a particularly bad bit of advice to a violent gangster, Fudo is badly beaten. When Fudo's wife Azra (Daria Lorenci) discovers what has happened, she decides to take the couple's infant son and move out. Now determined to win his wife back and restore peace in the home, Fudo decides to go straight. But cleaning up his act isn't going to be easy, because after borrowing enough cash from black market dealer Sejo (Emir Hadžihafizbegović) to purchase a van and then refusing to aid him in any underhanded dealings, the only person willing to cut him any slack is the sympathetic Azra.

Šjora File is accused of killing her husband, a lawyer calls for acquittal . The following hearing , lining up the " Scenes from a Marriage Dalmatian style " when a judge fails get past šjor File and when he thought he would soon be able to go to the market , it comes Martin , Vlaj where they stole a rooster . In an unusual hearing the judge lost his temper and himself become one of the participants in the case.

Karlovac, Central Croatian Front, 1991. Three Croatian soldiers try to detonate a Serb civilian's home, but are stopped in their efforts by the homeowner, whom they kill in retaliation. The only witness to the murder is the man's daughter, whom they decide to kidnap to prevent the truth from spreading out and causing political unrest. Nevertheless, the case gets out and, unebenknownst to each other, five different people: a homicide investigator, a medical examiner, a local politician, a reporter and the brother of one of the perpetrators, decide to track the perpetrators down to stop the truth from getting out.

The mailmen, Šime, is one of the favorite people of a small town, on an island in the middle of the sea. Šime is very intelligent and the locals have high regards for him because he is unusually well versed in all the events and destinies in the small town. He knows the weather forecast, what winds will blow, what the sermon on the Sunday mass will be. For all the locals Šime is an untouchable genius. However, unlike the locals, the viewers soon find out that the Sime's ingenuity is based on his reading of the mail. Fascinated by other people's destinies, Šime has perfected a way for opening letters and keeping complete records on the people living on the island. He keeps a precise track of who gets what kinds of letters, and that gives him insight into discrete and private affairs of people. One day a beautiful woman named Dea moves into town, and all the men try and court her...

Marijana's life revolves around her family, whether she likes it or not. They live on top of one another in a tiny apartment, driving one another crazy. Then her controlling father has a stroke and is left completely bedridden, and Marijana takes his place as head of the clan. Soon, she is working two jobs to keep everything afloat, while her mother and disabled brother do their best to scupper the ship. Driven to the edge, Marijana finds comfort in seedy sex with random strangers; and this taste of freedom leaves her wanting more. But now that she has finally found freedom, what's she meant to do with it?

The year is 37 BC. A young Liburnian Volsus is taken by a Roman unit to help in what at first seems a simple task of collecting taxes, but the encounters with local Illyrian tribes soon lead to unexpected turns of events, as they show more resilience to subjugation than meets the eye. He's joined by Vrabac, his ten-year-old neighbor on the run from his violent older brother, and Tina, a young woman desperately seeking for fame and fortune.

Mirjana is returning to Croatia from Germany where she spent some time as a refugee. She is pregnant. Now, when the war in Croatia is over and her visa expired, Mirjana is coming back to her family in a remote and devastated village. Her family is trying to move on with their lives after the war. They rebuild their house and they are trying to find a new husband for their pregnant daughter. Being patriarchal and devoted to their tradition they believe a woman needs to have a husband and a child has to have a father. Of course, the child and the father have to be of the same nationality. Problems start when Mirjana gives a birth to a boy with Asian features. The family and the neighbors are shocked. Mirjana¡¦s rigid father refuses to accept a grandchild of a different nationality, not to mention the one of a different race! Mirjana and her son are forced to leave. She returns only when her father falls seriously ill and requests to see his grandson before he dies.

Three friends, Jelena, Ana and Zorka meat three days before 20-year's high school reunion. Ana lives in a neighboring country, she's a biochemist and she has diagnosed (correctly) herself with breast cancer. Fuki their best male friend, never moved from their hometown, lives with his high-spirited grandmother, and occasionally gets involved with dubious people and business schemes. Each of the ladies used to be in love with Fuki at some point in their lives, but after all, they remained best friends. In three days, they all have a great challenge: to help Ana find the money for the operation. They will have to go through serious soul-searching, in order to find courage and strength to bring out the best and most noble in them. Breasts define all of them, not only as a metaphor.

The film focuses on Andreja, a young woman who lives with her parents in an atmosphere where each member of the family lives in their own world, burdened by their problems, without real communication or closeness. The film explores themes of misunderstanding and distance within the family.

The German Keller family pays a visit to their Croatian friends who live in a small village on the banks of the Cetina river. Inspired by the stories told to them by their fathers about the history of the area being used as the filming ground for the cinematic adaptations of German author Karl May's seminal Winnetou series of western novels, the children decide to play Cowboys and Indians. However, what they don't know is that the canyon they've picked as their play area, serves as the hiding spot of three ruthless Serbian chetniks, who had recently escaped from the nearby prison.

Nina, a young activist, is selling her family home, which is close to a factory in Vranjic. Her boyfriend, Srdjan, is going to work in Germany as a dentist and is leaving Nina and her strong, but blind mother, Carmen, for good. Nina is waiting for the results of a medical check-up.

Ante is a village fella who arrives in Zagreb to study at the faculty of forestry.
