This is the story of young Hassem, the son of a powerful sheik, set at the beginning of Hegira. When the youngster's uncle is murdered, Hassem decides to go to Mecca with a view to finding the culprit and punishing him. But what he discovers there is not the murderer but the prophet Muhammad. Touched by grace, Hassem converts to the new religion and comes back to his village to propagate the new faith. Which is not to his father's liking, since the Muslim religion is opposed to feudal rights and privileges. The infuriated sheik curses his son and starts persecuting the new converts.

Wolves That Do Not Eat Meat is an Arabic narrative film from the adventure and suspense films produced in 1973, represented by Izzat Al-Alayli in the role of "Anwar", Nahed Sharif in the role of "Thuraya" and Mohsen Sarhan in the role of "Saleh", and from Kuwait Muhammad Al-Mansour in the role of "Al-Saffah" Khaled Al-Saqabi in the role of “The Officer” and Ali Al-Mufidi in the role of “Al-Akhras”, and from Lebanon Silvana Badrakhan in the role of “Linda” and Les Sirkisian or actress Iman as she was known later in the role of “Nihad”. Several models of Egyptian citizens are introduced during the British occupation, from Shukry the army officer who refuses to shoot at student demonstrations, Saad who engages in political activity against the British occupation, to Abdel Azis who loves Raja, the dancer.

A girl is married to a doctor and they are living a love story. She was the target of all the relatives who tried to ruin this marriage and they actually succeeded in doing so. The wife was jealous of her husband because of her friend who asked her friend's husband, the doctor, to get rid of the fetus she had conceived from her lover, but the doctor refused, so the family collapsed because of the wife's suspicions.
