Talegaver Til Børn celebrated its 15th anniversary in December 2007 with three sold-out shows at Forum. The FBI's annual charity show was produced in collaboration with Unicef. For 15 years, between Christmas and New Year's Eve, people have been able to laugh for a good cause in the company of the country's best stand-up comedians, and the 2007 shows definitely lived up to the success of previous years.

Between Christmas and New Year's Eve 2022, it will be 30 years since Danish comedians first took to the stage to raise money for children in vulnerable situations.

The wait has been long, but now coronavirus and lockdown can finally be replaced by laughter and enjoyable time with friends and family. A number of the country's best comedians interrupted their Easter holidays and took to the stage for a good cause in 'Grin til gavn' (Laugh for a Cause) – Save the Children's comedy show. The hosts of this comical extravaganza are Ane Høgsberg and Martin Nørgaard.

In keeping with tradition, the popular comedy show is back, and this time it is Red Barnet that is behind it. This year's hosts are Michael Schøt and Christian Fuhlendorff.

Has Simon Talbot become too grown up and Copenhagen-ish? It's time for some soul-searching. Simon Talbot will visit Magion on Thursday, April 14th and take a look at himself in his third one man show, “Mr. Copenhagen”.

With the new show Optur, it's time to laugh and have a good time again, where Simon Talbot in his usual style transforms themes from his own life, such as hair loss, social media, cats, gaming, nose hair, Danish laws, the contrast of growing up with a Jehovah's Witness mother and Irish street boy father, married life, women's overly hot baths, and much much more, into jokes we can all laugh at. Over the past year, Simon has had stress reactions, spent too much time on social media, watched (way) too much Tiger King and acquired a sugar addiction, which he turns into a brand new Danish-language comedy show.

A stand-up show steeped in irony and sarcasm - to the extent that there is a difference. I don't really know when I'm being ironic, when I'm being sarcastic or when I'm being sincere - and what the difference really is. It sounds like a problem for my psychologist, but they're expensive... It's just easier to write a stand-up show.

Hygge is something Danes know and love, and on his second solo tour, comedian Martin Nørgaard takes a look at Danish hygge. The world may be in turmoil, the poles may be melting and the horsemen of the apocalypse are saddling up, but no one wants to think about that. or care. And so? it's lucky that we live in Denmark - the country that invented coziness! That is? if we ask ourselves. And we do. All the time. On his second solo tour, Martin Nørgaard invites you inside for a thoroughly cozy evening where you can hang your worries in the closet and close your eyes and ears to the outside world while you let Martin “Hyggefar” Nørgaard pull a warm blanket over your tired legs and serve a round of verbal chocolate milk with whipped cream.

Simon Talbot has just finished his epic tour with the show ‘Make Denmark Great Again’. Now the Danish comedian is setting his sights on world domination and touring Scandinavia with his brand new English-language stand-up show ‘Danish Invasion’. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the foreign shows were canceled, while the Danish part of the tour went ahead.

Highly satirical and personal show about remembering not only to survive but also to live while surviving. Including bizarre detours to everything from sumo wrestling nets, Glyngøre hand sanitizer, press, politics, percentages, privilege blindness and other things with a ‘p’. And of course everything that lands on the shelf ‘The heated polo match between the sexes’.

My newest (and actually best) one-man show. The show is about money, women, drugs, and a whole lot more. It's a slightly more personal show than the others, but still wrapped in silliness, a touch of satire and a lot of stupid attitude. It was recorded January 2020 at the Bremen Theater in Copenhagen in front of an awesome audience. I'm pretty damn happy with the result, the mood, the expression, and the little frame story, so I hope you'll enjoy it.

Look forward to a fantastic show, where this year's hosts, Carsten Bang and Jesper Juhl, together with a string of the country's comedians, will mark 25 years with a historic anniversary show on December 27 at Musikhuset Aarhus, December 29 at Royal Arena, and January 8, 2018, at The Comedy Store in London. For the fifth year in a row, the proceeds will go to Save the Children and the organization's humanitarian work for refugee children. In recent years, Jacob Wilson has worked as a professional comedian in nearly every corner of the entertainment industry, including as a radio host, writer, and most recently on TV, where he won the industry award for “Rising Star of the Year” in 2010. However, it is on the stand-up stage that he shines brightest, as is clearly evident in this show, where Jacob, with enthusiasm and energy, delivers fantastically funny, spot-on, and insightful observations, cementing his place at the top of Danish comedy.
