Based on a true story, during World War II, four Jewish brothers escape their Nazi-occupied homeland of West Belarus in Poland and join the Soviet partisans to combat the Nazis. The brothers begin the rescue of roughly 1,200 Jews still trapped in the ghettos of Poland.

A land surveyor marries a young woman, but she falls for a reckless machine-operator, while a local buffet worker harbors unrequited love for the surveyor, entangling the four isolated villagers in a web of passion and tragic despair.

This encourages both children to set out for a "real" date.

All that needs to be done is to complete an application and give the “Catholic court” a good reason. But she does not know in what kind of absurd situations she is about to find herself in.
