Set in the 1990s, these are the life and times of Amado Carrillo Fuentes, a man who became the head of the Juárez cartel. Nicknamed “El Señor de los Cielos” (Lord of the Skies) because of the large fleet of airplanes he used to transport drugs, he was also known for washing more than $200 million through Colombia to finance his huge fleet. He is described as the most powerful drug trafficker of his time.

Leticia Padilla Solís, “Leti”, is an intelligent but unattractive girl, rather ugly. She graduated with honors in economics, speaks several languages, is fluent in computers, and is a financial genius. Only, because of his physique, she can't find work. Pueblo chico, infierno grande is a Mexican historical telenovela produced by José Alberto Castro for Televisa and originally broadcast on Canal de las Estrellas from January 6 to August 1, 1997. Created by Javier Ruán and adapted by Javier Ruán, Mario Hernández, and Sergio Schmucler, the telenovela is based on a true story about Leonarda Ruán. It stars Verónica Castro, Juan Soler, and Guillermo Capetillo. Based on the 1974 telenovela Ha llegado una intrusa, created by Marissa Garrido, it was adapted by Martha Carrillo and Cristina García and directed by Luis Eduardo Reyes and Nelinho Acosta. The telenovela stars Macarena García, Diego Klein, Isidora Vives, Andrés Baida, Karyme Lozano, Arturo Peniche, Claudia Ramírez, and Fernando Ciangherotti. The show involves celebrities being paired up with professional dancers. Each couple performs ballroom or Latin dances and competes for judges' critiques and audience votes. Whichever couple receives the lowest total amount of judges' critique and audience votes is eliminated until a champion is named at the end. Each celebrity is competing for a grand total of $50,000 for a charity of their choice.

Alguien Te Mira is a Spanish-language telenovela produced by United States-based television network Telemundo. This Thriller mystery is a remake of Chilean telenovela Alguien te mira produced by TVN in 2007. Telemundo aired this series during the 2010-2011 season, from Monday to Friday over about 26 weeks. As with most of its other telenovelas, the network broadcasts English subtitles as closed captions on CC3.
