An expansive Russian drama, this film focuses on the life of revered religious icon painter Andrei Rublev. Drifting from place to place in a tumultuous era, the peace-seeking monk eventually gains a reputation for his art. But after Rublev witnesses a brutal battle and unintentionally becomes involved, he takes a vow of silence and spends time away from his work. As he begins to ease his troubled soul, he takes steps towards becoming a painter once again.

A seminary student on monastery holiday kills an old witch in a remote village. A musical ensemble of Romanian students dreams of being selected for a competition in Sochi, Russia. They hear rumors that a Russian ship with a festival talent scout will be arriving in the port of Constanta. The band sets up for a performance at the harbor, in hopes of attracting the scout’s attention immediately upon arrival. A case of mistaken identity leads to a series of complications involving a suitcase, two small-time gangsters, a blonde tourist, and the band’s drummer. This attempt at a plot conforms of course to the conventions of romantic musical comedies, resulting in a film full of song and dance. With memorable song titles like “Yes, I am an umbrella” and “Let’s play my guitar”, this Romanian-Soviet co-production is as silly as it is irresistible.

Eduard Avdonin, a sable fur specialist, is murdered in Siberia, in one of the fur reserves. The case is assigned to senior investigator Dagurova of the prosecutor's office. She rejects one suspect after another. Having found out that the deceased was a poacher, Dagurova soon comes to the conclusion that the murder was committed by the director of the reserve Gai, who organized the illegal sale of furs abroad. Now the lives of the investigator and witnesses are in danger.

Schoolboy Kirill has only one flaw—he wears glasses. So when he meets his classmate Aina, he hides them in his pocket and, whenever she asks him about them, he claims he forgot them at home. Meanwhile, Kirill's mother believes that his only flaw is that he always says what he thinks. However, their points of view are not entirely different. One day, Kirill will find a true friend — an old watchmaker who fought in World War II. The boy will be surprised and delighted to learn that Aina is his granddaughter.
