Casey is a student teacher who gets his very first placement in class 5b. He is not sure how to teach yet, but thankfully the children are more than willing to help him.

Gerri and Anneke, who is now heavily pregnant, have sold their flat in Eindhoven and are temporarily living in a bungalow park. To earn some extra money to buy their dream home, they decide to participate in a reality show about their lives. When it turns out that Gerri and Anneke are not providing any spectacular television, director Reggi intervenes to save the show. His influence puts a strain on Gerri and Anneke's relationship, which was already under high tension now that the birth is approaching.

Peter is a cheerful -- but not very obedient -- boy from a very ordinary family in pre-war Rotterdam. His many pranks amuse some and cause a lot of trouble to others, even making the front pages of the big city newspapers. His growing popularity brings him many new friends, but also some very powerful enemies.

The quirky Dutch-Jamaican Hadiah Tromp (21) is the daughter of Navy officer Tromp, who believes his daughter is a perfect fit for the Navy. But Hadiah doesn't like her Navy training. She prefers to stay at home and listen to her collection of old Ska records. When her boyfriend cheats on her, she decides to finish her Navy training. But Hadiah has difficulties feeling at home in the disciplined and closed environment of the naval frigate and she has constant collusions with the handsome but stern Sergeant Major Paul Borremans. Can the impulsive Hadiah stand tall in the Navy world full of rules? Or is she forced to leave the ship early?

Three robbers who have just robbed a gas station flee into the zoo. But in their haste, they lose the note telling them where they hid the money. The note is found by two children who help take care of the animals in their spare time... This is the beginning of an exciting adventure, in which the children track down the crooks. In a wild chase through the zoo, the animals also make themselves heard, and the children receive help from an unexpected source!

A widowed Latvian father's quest for a much-loved Dutch pen pal, whom he hasn't heard from in three decades, provides the basis of this comedy-drama. The father is accompanied by his traumatized and mute eight-year-old son whom he had to kidnap from a Riga hospital. Together, the two flee towards Holland where the father Yuris hopes to find his long-lost friend Marie, whom he remembers as a great beauty. During the long journey, father and son have several funny adventures, many of which occur because neither father nor son speak much Dutch. They finally arrive at Marie's door empty-handed. What they find, gives them little hope, for the lithe young idealist of Yuris' dreams has become middle-aged and cynical.

Little boy Kees is based on the famous classical masterpiece by Theo Thijssen and deals with a twelve year old Amsterdam schoolboy who grows up at the end of the 19th century in the Jordaan (part of Amsterdam. Kees Bakels is a dreamer who seeks refuge from reality with wild imagination where he dares more than in real life. Through his fathers illness and his young love for Rosa Overbeek he develops himself as someone who acts and assumes responsibility.
