Set against the turbulent atmosphere of the 1960s, Tropicália is a feature length documentary exploring the Brazilian artistic movement known as Tropicália, and the struggle its artists endured to protect their right to freely express revolutionary thought against the traditional Brazilian music of that time.

"Dia Voa" is a documentary that follows Chico Buarque during the recording of his album, capturing exclusive interviews and unseen footage. It was his first album integrated into digital platforms during the promotional process. In just over an hour, the film showcases the conception and production of the album—from Chico’s return to songwriting after a period dedicated to literature (during which he released Leite Derramado, winner of the 2010 Jabuti Award for Best Fiction Book) to the final product.

This film shines a light at the story of Jards Macalé, polemic artist and controversial character of Brazilian culture over the last four decades. Author of songs such as "Vapor Barato" and "Movimento dos Barcos", a partner in crime of poet Waly Salomão, guitar player and songwriter for Gal Costa and Caetano Veloso, actor and author of soundtracks in Nelson Pereira dos Santos' films, a personal friend of visual artists Lygia Clarke and Hélio Oiticica, but, first and foremost, someone who dreams of seeing the word "love" in the Brazilian flag.

The film discusses decisive moments in the life and career of Cauby Peixoto. In addition to interviews and recordings of the singer's concerts, the film uses testimonials from fans and artists such as Maria Bethânia, Emílio Santiago, Agnaldo Timóteo and Agnaldo Rayol, in addition to researchers Ricardo Cravo Albin and Rodrigo Faour.

While the differences in religious beliefs tend to separate and divide, the image of Nossa Senhora de Aparecida is like her cloak, covering and protecting the body of her followers. Aparecida has devout followers of all social classes, religions and regions of the country. Aparecida is a symbol of the maternal heart, kindness and tolerance. All people fit underneath the mother’s cloak. Aparecida goes beyond the church which she represents and transcends the differences so that all feel welcome in her home. The film is constructed by different characters that have emotional, relevant and particular stories about their faith in Aparecida.

It explores Rita Lee's personal life and her creative process, revealing her musical talent and her ability to transform on stage. Rita herself guides the narrative through past interviews she gave throughout her career and current testimonies.

Five years after his last tour, Chico Buarque returns with a show to launch his newest CD, Chico, which has already sold over 80,000 copies. Despite having one of the most solid and prolific careers in Brazilian Popular Music (MPB) — releasing more than 40 albums over 45 years, including solo works and projects — the composer rarely appears on Brazilian stages. This will be only the sixth show he has performed in the last 36 years. Lasting approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, the setlist is built entirely around the ten songs from the new album. In addition to these, the artist sifted through his vast catalog of over 400 songs—diverse in both genres and themes—to finalize a list of 30 tracks. The project, titled Na Carreira, is a celebration of this great artist’s return to the stage, revisiting classics such as Todo Sentimento, Bastidores, Baioque, O Meu Amor/Teresinha, Anos Dourados, among others.

“Carioca,” Chico Buarque’s first DVD of original songs since As Cidades (1998), features musical direction and arrangements by Luiz Cláudio Ramos and production by Vinícius França. The repertoire includes the choro-canção Subúrbio and Sempre, a track composed for the film O Maior Amor do Mundo, among others. In this work, the artist speaks about his city with the youthful spirit reminiscent of the age when he first earned his famous nickname. Ulisses has failed in his professional life, but leads a happy life with his wife Ângela and their two daughters. Until the day he is introduced to Bárbara, a very beautiful woman living in Rio de Janeiro. Ângela becomes her friend and gives her the dress Ulisses had given her. From then on, marital problems arise, and he becomes increasingly attracted to Bárbara.

In Vitória, the middle-age piano teacher Gertrudes sublets her apartment to two younger women, the unstable Lúcia and the nurse Madalena. Gertrudes misses and daydreams her former love and has a motherhood relationship with Lúcia; Madalena has a promiscuous life, having one night stand with the most different men every day and her behavior is criticized by Gertreudes; and Lúcia is dreamer that manipulates Gertrudes and expects that the handyman Alfredo becomes her prince charming. Their conflictive relationship ends when Madalena discloses their inner feelings and secrets to each other.

A film conceived and animated by Fernando Diniz, a renowned Brazilian artist who lived most of his life inside a mental institution. Marcos Magalhaes has worked closely together with Diniz for about 6 years in order to complete this short.
