Mei Zhuyu, a calm and reserved nobleman from a lesser branch of the Mei family, arrives in Chang'an as an official at the Bureau of Mystic Investigations. During a banquet, he meets Wu Zhen, the bold and unruly younger sister of the Empress and secret Guardian of the Demon Underworld. Both hide their true identities. The Prince of Han Dynasty is a three-season Chinese television series featuring a fictionalised life story of Liu Che, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. Season 1 was first broadcast on Beijing Television in 2001 in mainland China, followed by the second and third seasons in 2003 and 2005 respectively. Except for Huang Xiaoming, who played Emperor Wu in all three seasons, the cast members in each season are almost different from its preceding one.

The story of Zhang Xiao Yue and Luo Can Yang, who end up in the same prison cell and reminisce in boredom. When Zhang Xiao Yue's father passed away, her family lost their only means of livelihood, unable to pay off their debts. Around the same time, Luo Can Yang's father is holding a banquet to celebrate his promotion, and Xiao Yue and her mother are hired as helpers by the Luo family. A series of complex relationships and conflicts unfold as a result, all seeming to revolve around Xiao Yue, her mother, and Can Yang. Both women struggle to stay true to themselves or find some small pieces of personal happiness in a society that considers them tools for men to use rather than as human beings.

Qiao's Grand Courtyard is a 2006 Chinese historical television series. The series is set during the late Qing Dynasty and chronicles the life of Shanxi financier, businessman and philanthropist Qiao Zhiyong, with artistic license applied. Part of the series was shot at Qiao's Compound, which was Qiao Zhiyong's ancestral home at Qi County, Shanxi. The series debuted on CCTV-1 on February 13, 2006 and comprises 45 episodes. It was directed by Hu Mei, known for her historical dramas Yongzheng Dynasty and The Emperor Han Wu. Lead actor and actress Chen Jianbin and Jiang Qinqin won the Audience's Favorite Actor/Actress Awards at the 2006 Golden Eagle TV Art Festival for their roles in this series. The pair was married in 2006. Qiao's Grand Courtyard clinched Best Drama Series at the 1st Seoul Drama Awards.

Mainland CID Officer JIANG ZIDAN (Wang Yang), nicknamed “BULLET”, infiltrates a Hong Kong triad group in an attempt to investigate a cross-border drug trafficking case and encounters Hong Kong narcotics inspector WAI CHUN-HIN (Him Law) and female officer CHAN YUET-KI (Cecilia So). Yuen Biao gradually learns the truth about Moses and they become good friends. They tackle on many strange cases along with Yoyo Mung, who became a lawyer after being a head officer/investigator.
