Three young people have decided to rob the safe of the estate agent Thomas Christidis, whose office is in the center of Athens. The first of them is Ntinos, who is Christidis’ clerk, the second one is Stavros, Ntinos’ younger brother who works as a book representative, while their friend Michalis is a pirate taxi-driver. The robbery is successful, and they feel excited.

One evening, Stelios and Stefanos lure them to a wild party at a villa in Glyfada, where the atmosphere is electric: dim lighting, provocative outfits, striptease. After a guest makes an overt sexual advance toward Aliki, the group leaves, but on the way, their car—driven by Stefanos—hits a passerby. They immediately take the injured stranger to Kostas' apartment, and Stefanos asks his uncle, who is a doctor, for help. The injured man soon succumbs, and the doctor reports the incident. Thus, Kostas and Aliki are forced to turn themselves in to the police. What follows is a trial and conviction.

Adapted from Nikos Foskolos’ theatrical play. On a terribly stormy night, in a secluded hotel, the owner, Brigadier Norton, is murdered. Prime suspects: his daughter Elena, his second wife Liza, Liza’s niece and her fiancé, Norton’s physician, and the hotel staff. Inspector Fox and his assistant, policeman Petridis, are assigned the investigation of the crime. While the suspects’ questioning is under way, some more people arrive at the hotel: detective Tilemachos Christofis with his assistant Aliki, and lieutenant Karalis, a sworn enemy of the victim, complicating things even more.

Vasilis is a poor conservative man who works in a company and tends to buy the lottery very often - but with no luck. His life will turn upside down when his younger sister turns out to be an anarchist and gets involved with a leftist rebellious man he already knows and hates. Eventually, in an ironic twist of faith, the two of them will earn millions and gain the exact lifestyle they used to fight against and Vasilis will lose his mind.
